Suzanne Pleshette
Suzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19th, 2008) was an American film, theatre television, voice actress. Pleshette began her professional career in the theater, and then she was in films in the late 1950s. She later appeared in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 until 1978 Pleshette was an recurring guest on various television productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January 1937. The parents of her were Jewish, the children of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage director at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
